Koopmans baking mixes

Koopmans is one of the oldest and most iconic Dutch food brands, established in 1867 by Klaas Koopmans in Leeuwarden. The company began as a simple flour mill and successfully evolved into the market leader for baking mixes in the Netherlands. For generations, Koopmans has been synonymous with traditional Dutch home baking, particularly known for its pancake mixes, apple pie kits, and traditional 'self-raising' flour. Production remains deeply rooted in the Netherlands, primarily centered in Leeuwarden, Friesland.

Dr. Oetker acquired Koopmans in the early 21st century to strengthen its position in the Benelux market.
