Originally created in France in 1966 by the Volvic company (SNC Société des Eaux de Volvic), the brand became known for its 'tropical' flavor profile and its iconic use of anthropomorphic fruit characters in advertising. Over the decades, the brand has expanded its portfolio to include 'Ice Tea' variants, such as the peach-flavored beverage seen here.

The brand has undergone several ownership changes. After being part of the Perrier Group and later Cadbury Schweppes, it is now under the ownership of Suntory Beverage & Food, a major global beverage company headquartered in Japan.
