Sharp's Brewery Beer

Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp in Rock, Cornwall. The brewery quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality cask ales, with its flagship brand, Doom Bar Amber Ale, becoming the top-selling cask ale in the United Kingdom. Deeply rooted in the coastal culture of Cornwall, the brewery's identity and product names are frequently inspired by local landmarks and maritime features.

In 2011, Sharp's Brewery was acquired by Molson Coors, one of the world's largest brewing conglomerates. This acquisition provided the brand with the logistical support to expand its reach significantly across the UK and international markets. Despite the change in ownership, the brewery continues to operate its main production facility in Rock, Cornwall, maintaining its local heritage while benefiting from the global infrastructure of its parent company.
