Landliebe is one of Germany’s most iconic dairy brands, established in 1980. The name translates to 'Country Love,' reflecting the brand's long-standing marketing focus on traditional farming, sustainability, and high-quality ingredients without additives. Historically, the brand was a cornerstone of the German dairy cooperative Campina.
Over the decades, the brand expanded from milk and butter into yogurt, rice pudding, cheese, and even fruit spreads. In 2023, a significant shift in ownership occurred when the German subsidiary of the French dairy giant Müller Group acquired Landliebe and several other brands from Royal FrieslandCampina. Today, the brand remains a dominant player in the European dairy market, emphasizing its heritage even as it operates under new multinational management.
