In 2013, the brand was acquired by the Australian food company Parmalat, which was a subsidiary of the French multinational dairy giant Lactalis. Today, Tamar Valley Dairy remains part of the Lactalis Australia portfolio. While it is owned by a French parent company, the products continue to be manufactured locally in Australia, primarily utilizing milk sourced from Australian dairy farmers to maintain its 'Australian-made' positioning for the domestic market.
