San Pellegrino Aranciata is an iconic Italian sparkling fruit beverage that has been a staple of the Mediterranean lifestyle for decades. The brand traces its roots back to the thermal springs of San Pellegrino Terme in the Italian Alps. The specific line of sparkling fruit drinks (Aranciata) was launched in 1932 by Ezio Granelli, who combined sparkling mineral water with high-quality orange juice to create a refreshing carbonated soda.

While the brand is deeply steeped in Italian heritage and continues to be primarily manufactured in its homeland of Italy to maintain product authenticity, it is no longer an independent Italian company. In 1997, San Pellegrino S.p.A. was acquired by the Swiss multinational food and beverage giant Nestlé.

Today, San Pellegrino operates as a major brand under the Nestlé Waters division. It remains one of the world's most recognized premium beverage brands, exported globally while maintaining its production base in Italy to ensure the use of Italian citrus and natural mineral water remains consistent with its original character.
