The Philips Azur 7000 Series is a high-performance steam iron produced by Versuni, the company that now manages the former Philips Domestic Appliances division. Originally founded in Eindhoven, Netherlands, in 1891, Philips has a long-standing history as a pioneer in household electronics.
In 2021, the Philips Domestic Appliances business was sold to the global investment firm Hillhouse Investment. Since 2023, this entity has operated under the brand name Versuni. While the brand name 'Philips' remains prominently used under a long-term license, the corporate ownership is distinctly separate from Royal Philips (which now focuses on healthcare technology). Manufacturing for the Azur series is largely centralized in specialized facilities in Indonesia, which serve global markets including Europe and the Nordic regions.
