The brand Wernerssons was established in 1930 and has grown from a local family business into a major distributor of domestic and international cheeses. In 2004, the company was acquired by the Danish dairy cooperative Arla Foods, which currently manages the brand's logistics and distribution across Northern Europe. Production remains primarily based in Sweden to maintain the authentic geographic and culinary identity of products like Tage.
