Kruidvat zakdoekjes are a private-label product of the Dutch drugstore chain Kruidvat. Originally established in 1975 by the De Rijcke family in the Netherlands, Kruidvat has grown to become the market leader in the health and beauty sector within the Benelux region.

The brand's paper products are manufactured in various locations across Europe to meet supply demands efficiently. Kruidvat was acquired in 2002 by the Kruidvat Holding company, which was subsequently bought by A.S. Watson Group. Today, the brand is part of the extensive portfolio of A.S. Watson Group, which is a subsidiary of multinational conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings based in Hong Kong.
