Adler Bräu beer

Adler Bräu is a traditional Swiss beer brand produced by the Brauerei Adler, based in Schwanden in the Canton of Glarus. Founded in 1828 by Fridolin Tschudi, it remains one of the last independent breweries in East Switzerland. The brand is deeply rooted in its local region, utilizing mountain water and traditional methods to create its range of unfiltered and unpasteurized beers.

Today, the brewery is managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Oeschger family, who acquired it in the late 19th century. Brauerei Adler remains a family-owned enterprise, maintaining its independence from large global beverage conglomerates. The production is concentrated entirely at its historic site in Schwanden, ensuring local quality and craftsmanship.
