HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) is a Danish performance brand inspired by the Danish Special Forces. The brand was founded in 2015 by Rasmus Storm in collaboration with Malkit Singh and Hummel. The numbers typically featured on the apparel (1968, 1972, 1981) refer to significant years in the history of the Danish Special Forces (Jægerkorpset), such as the unit's founding and parachute jumping milestones.
While the brand is rooted in Danish heritage and design, production is handled through global supply chains, primarily in Asia and Europe, depending on the specific textile requirements. Since its inception, HALO has been part of the Aarhus-based sports fashion group Hummel (Christian Stadil's Thornico Group), which provides the infrastructure for international distribution and production.
