CCS Fotvårdssalva

CCS (Clean Chemical Sweden) is a historic Swedish brand founded in Borlänge in 1979. It is particularly well-known for its professional-grade foot care products, which are frequently used by podiatrists throughout Scandinavia. The Fotvårdssalva (Foot Care Balm) is one of their most iconic products, featuring a high concentration of urea (10% carbamide) to treat dry skin and calluses.

While the brand started as a local Swedish laboratory, it underwent several ownership changes. After being part of the Norwegian group Karo Healthcare for several years, the brand remains a staple of Swedish pharmacies. Production has traditionally been centered in Sweden, reflecting its heritage of pharmaceutical-grade skincare developed for the harsh Nordic climate.
