TUC Bacon Flavour Biscuits

TUC is a well-known brand of savory crackers recognized for their unique rectangular shape and light, airy texture. Originally launched in Belgium in 1958 by the Parein biscuit factory, the brand name is an acronym for 'The Unique Cracker'. It was inspired by the founder's trip to the United States where he noticed a reference to 'Trade Union Corporation' in a newspaper.

Over the decades, the brand's ownership has transitioned through major food conglomerates. It was acquired by General Biscuits, then Danone, and eventually became part of the Kraft Foods portfolio. Today, TUC is owned by Mondelez International, one of the world's largest snack companies. While the brand has Belgian roots, manufacturing now takes place in several locations across Europe and globally to meet demand in over 50 countries.
