7 Up is a world-renowned brand of lemon-lime flavored non-caffeinated soft drinks. The brand was originally created by Charles Leiper Grigg in 1929 through the Howdy Corporation. It was initially marketed for its mood-stabilizing effects using lithium citrate, though this was removed in 1948.

Today, the brand operates under a dual-ownership structure. In the United States, it is owned and distributed by Keurig Dr Pepper. Internationally, however, the rights to the brand were sold to PepsiCo in the 1980s. Because of this, the product is manufactured in dozens of countries worldwide through a vast network of bottling plants, including locations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, often produced locally by regional partners like Britvic in the United Kingdom or PepsiCo's own international bottling divisions.
