LEDVANCE is a global leader in general lighting for professional applications and end-consumers. The brand originated from the split of the classic lighting business of OSRAM in 2016. While its roots are deeply tied to German engineering and the historic OSRAM heritage, the brand has shifted its focus heavily toward smart home integration and LED technology.

Following its spin-off, LEDVANCE was acquired by a Chinese consortium and is currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of MLS Co., Ltd., one of the world's largest LED manufacturers. This ownership allows LEDVANCE to leverage massive production scales in China while maintaining its historical European research and development presence.
