Kruidvat Loyalty Card

This image displays a loyalty membership card for Kruidvat, one of the most prominent drugstore chains in the Benelux region. Kruidvat was founded in the Netherlands in 1975 by the De Rijcke family. It quickly grew into a market leader by offering personal care and health products at competitive prices.

Today, Kruidvat is no longer independently owned. In 2002, it was acquired by the multinational conglomerate A.S. Watson Group, which is the world's largest international health and beauty retailer. A.S. Watson is a subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, a massive business empire based in Hong Kong. While the brand maintains a strongly Dutch identity and local presence, its strategic direction and ownership reside with this global parent company.
