Africafe is a prestigious coffee brand that traces its roots to Tanzania, East Africa. Known for producing high-quality instant coffee, it is crafted from a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans grown in the volcanic soils of the region. The brand was established to showcase the rich coffee heritage of East Africa, specifically under the stewardship of the Tanganyika Instant Coffee Company (TANICA).

Manufacturing takes place at the TANICA factory located in Bukoba, Tanzania. This facility was the first instant coffee factory in East and Central Africa, ensuring that the entire value chain from farm to tin remains largely local. The brand is currently owned by the Tanganyika Instant Coffee Company PLC, which operates as a critical player in the Tanzanian agricultural and export sector.
