Plasmon is a legendary Italian brand founded in 1902 by Dr. Cesare Scotti. It is synonymous with early childhood nutrition in Italy, best known for its uniquely shaped biscuits designed for infants. The brand emphasizes the use of 100% Italian wheat and specific nutritional enrichment like iron and B vitamins.

While deeply rooted in Italian heritage, the brand has seen several ownership changes. It was originally independent, later acquired by the multi-national H.J. Heinz Company in 1963. Today, following the merger of Heinz and Kraft, Plasmon is a part of the Kraft Heinz Company. Despite its American ownership, the production remains centralized in Italy, notably at the historic Latina plant, to maintain its authentic Italian quality standards.
