Sandels Premium Beer

Sandels is a well-known Finnish premium lager brand that takes its name and inspiration from Johan August Sandels, a Swedish field marshal and hero of the Finnish War (1808–1809). The brand's packaging often features illustrations reflecting this historical period and the colonel's reputed love for good food and drink. It is widely considered one of Finland's most popular beer brands.

The product is brewed and bottled exclusively in Finland at the Olvi brewery located in Iisalmi. Since its production began, Olvi has maintained high quality standards, ensuring the beer stays true to its Finnish roots while being distributed across Scandinavia and the Baltic states.

Sandels is owned by Olvi Oyj, an independent Finnish beverage company founded in 1878. Unlike many other major Finnish beer brands that have been acquired by multinational conglomerates, Olvi remains headquartered in Finland and is the only large Finnish brewery that has stayed under local ownership, though it operates subsidiaries in several other countries including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Belarus.
