Jacobs is an iconic German coffee brand with a heritage dating back to 1895 when Johann Jacobs opened a coffee shop in Bremen. Today, it stands as one of the most recognizable coffee names across Europe, particularly known for its 'Verwöhnaroma' (pampering aroma).

The brand has undergone significant corporate shifts over the decades. Originally a family business, it merged to become Jacobs Suchard and was later acquired by Kraft Foods. In 2015, following a series of corporate demergers, it became part of a major joint venture. It is currently owned by JDE Peet's, a global coffee powerhouse headquartered in the Netherlands. While the brand has deep German roots, its products are manufactured in various facilities across Europe to serve different regional markets.
