JBL Live series headphones

JBL is a historic American audio brand founded in 1946 by James Bullough Lansing. The company has a long-standing reputation for professional audio equipment, ranging from studio monitors to car sound systems and consumer electronics like the Live series headphones pictured.

Today, JBL is a core brand under the Harman International Industries umbrella. Harman was acquired by Samsung Electronics in 2017, making Samsung the ultimate owner. While the brand has American roots, the high-volume production of consumer electronics like wireless headphones is primarily carried out in China to utilize established electronics manufacturing hubs.
