While founded in France, Pulmoll was later acquired by the German company Kalfany Süße Werbung GmbH & Co. KG. Today, the products are primarily manufactured in Germany, specifically in Müllheim (Baden-Württemberg). The brand specializes in using natural herb extracts and fruit juices, often offering sugar-free versions sweetened with stevia to appeal to health-conscious consumers. Since 2003, it has been part of the Zertus Group, an international food and beverage conglomerate headquartered in Hamburg.
