OCB, which stands for Odet-Cascadec-Bolloré, is one of the world's most iconic brands in the rolling paper and smoking accessory industry. The brand's roots date back to 1822 when the Bolloré family established a paper mill on the banks of the Odet river in Ergué-Gabéric, France. Over the centuries, the company evolved from producing high-quality paper for bibles and postage stamps to specializing in ultra-thin rolling papers, officially launching the OCB trademark in 1918.

Today, OCB products are primarily manufactured in France, continuing a long tradition of European craftsmanship. The brand is known for its innovation in natural gum and sustainable materials, such as organic hemp and bamboo options. Its manufacturing processes are centered in high-tech facilities that maintain consistent quality across its global distribution network.

In terms of ownership, the brand underwent a significant transition in 2000 when Don Levin, owner of the American company Republic Tobacco (now Republic Technologies), acquired a major stake in OCB. Republic Technologies International, based in Perpignan, France, is the current ultimate owner of the brand. This ownership structure has allowed OCB to maintain its French manufacturing heritage while benefiting from a massive international distribution network based out of the United States.
