Winston is a globally recognized brand of cigarettes that was originally introduced in 1954 by the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in the United States. Named after Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the city where the company was headquartered, it became one of the first filter-tipped cigarettes to achieve massive commercial success.

Today, the brand operates under a split ownership structure. In the United States, Winston is owned and manufactured by ITG Brands, a subsidiary of the British multinational Imperial Brands. Outside of the United States, the brand was acquired by Japan Tobacco International (JTI) in 1999.

Manufacturing takes place in various facilities globally to serve different regional markets. JTI produces Winston in numerous locations including Germany, Serbia, and Turkey, while the American versions are produced in North Carolina. The Winston Arctic Cool variant shown is a capsule-based product typically marketed in international markets where menthol or cooling features are permitted.
