Conde de San Cristóbal is a premium red wine produced in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region in Spain. Specifically, it is crafted at the Pago de Valdestremera estate in Peñafiel (Valladolid). The brand was established in the early 2000s by the Peláez family, who sought to expand their winemaking legacy into one of Spain's most prestigious Denominations of Origin (D.O.).

The brand is owned by the Marquis of Vargas Family Wines & Estates (Bodegas y Viñedos del Marqués de Vargas). This family-run group maintains a rich heritage in Spanish viticulture, with operations also in Rioja and Rías Baixas. The manufacturing process takes place entirely on the estate properties, ensuring quality control from vine to bottle, reflecting the unique microclimate and clay-limestone soil of the Duero area.
