Poland Spring is a popular American brand of bottled water that leverages a rich history dating back to its discovery at Poland Spring, Maine, in 1845. The water is sourced from several natural springs throughout the state of Maine, making it a regional staple in the Northeastern United States.
Over the decades, the brand has transitioned through various corporate ownerships. It was a long-standing flagship brand for Nestlé Waters North America. However, in early 2021, Nestlé sold its North American bottled water business to BlueTriton Brands, a company formed by private equity firms One Rock Capital Partners and Metropoulos & Co. Today, Poland Spring remains focused on its Maine roots while being managed as a key asset within the BlueTriton portfolio.
