Milka Alpenmilk Chocolate

Milka is a globally recognized chocolate brand famous for its distinctive lilac packaging and the Milka Cow mascot. The brand's history dates back to 1901 when it was registered in Switzerland by Philippe Suchard. The name 'Milka' is a portmanteau of the German words for its primary ingredients: Milch (milk) and Kakao (cocoa).

Today, Milka is no longer a Swiss-owned brand. After a series of mergers and acquisitions throughout the 20th century involving Suchard and Kraft Foods, it is now owned by Mondelez International. While it maintains its Alpine heritage, manufacturing takes place in various European locations, most notably in Lörrach, Germany, and Bludenz, Austria. The brand remains one of Europe's leading chocolate producers, known for its focus on smooth textures and 100% Alpine milk.
