Kaba Waffelriegel

Kaba is a historic German brand, famously known for its instant cocoa drink powder 'Kaba - der Plantagentrank', which was launched in 1918 by Ludwig Stollwerck in Cologne. Over the decades, the brand has transitioned through various corporate owners, including Kraft Foods and Mondelēz International.

In recent years, the brand was acquired by Carambar & Co, a company formed by the investment firm Eurazeo. Under this new ownership, Kaba has expanded its product line beyond just drink powders into the confectionery segment, launching products like chocolate bars and the hazelnut cream wafer bars shown in the image. These snacks are primarily manufactured in Germany and France to serve the DACH region market.
