Polident is a globally recognized brand specializing in denture cleansers and adhesives. The brand's history is deeply intertwined with the development of specialized oral care products for prosthetic teeth, originally developed to provide better hygiene and comfort for denture wearers. For many decades, it was a flagship brand under the pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

In recent years, the ownership of Polident has transitioned as part of a major corporate restructuring. In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division to form an independent company called Haleon. Polident, along with other major brands like Sensodyne and Panadol, is now part of Haleon's portfolio. While the brand originated in the United States and United Kingdom, its products are manufactured in various facilities worldwide to serve different regional markets.
