Proper Popcorn, originally launched as Propercorn, is a British snack brand that first emerged in London. Founded by Cassandra Stavrou and Ryan Kohn in 2011, the brand was built on the principle of 'Done Properly,' focusing on quality ingredients, unique seasonings, and eye-catching artistic packaging. The company quickly grew from a startup operating out of a kitchen to a leading premium popcorn brand in Europe.

In 2021, Proper merged with the healthy snack bar brand Eat Real to form the 'Better-For-You' (BFY) Group, backed by the investment firm Exponent Private Equity. Today, the brand continues to manufacture its products primarily in the United Kingdom, maintaining its commitment to sustainable practices and B Corp certification while expanding its product range into other snack categories like crisps.
