Historically part of the Heineken portfolio through Vrumona, the brand underwent a significant ownership shift in 2023. Royal Unibrew, a major Danish beverage company, acquired Vrumona from Heineken, thereby becoming the ultimate owner of the Royal Club brand. Today, the products are still primarily manufactured in the Netherlands at Vrumona's production facilities in Bunnik.
