Marabou Chocolate Bars

Marabou is an iconic Swedish chocolate brand founded in 1916 by the Norwegian chocolatier Johan Throne Holst, who already owned the Freia brand. The brand quickly became a household name in Sweden and the Nordic countries, known for its distinctive yellow packaging and creamy milk chocolate. The image shows several popular variants, including Marabou Daim, Marabou TUC, and Marabou Black Saltlakrits.

While the brand has deep Swedish roots, today it is part of a global snacking portfolio. Marabou was acquired by Kraft Foods (now Mondelez International) in the early 1990s. Most Marabou products continue to be manufactured at the historic factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, though some specific components or limited runs may involve other facilities within the owner's European supply chain. The brand remains a Royal Warrant holder for the Swedish King.
