Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate, often simply called 'Fazer Blue' (Fazerin Sininen), is Finland's most iconic chocolate brand. It was first launched in 1922 and is widely recognized by its distinctive blue packaging, which is a registered trademark in Finland. The chocolate is famously made using fresh milk rather than milk powder, following a recipe that remains a closely guarded secret. This specific edition features Moomin characters, celebrating two of Finland's most famous cultural exports.

The brand is owned by Fazer, a family-owned company founded by Karl Fazer in 1891 when he opened his first French-Russian confectionery in Helsinki. Today, the manufacturing of their core chocolate products remains centered in Finland, primarily at the Vantaa factory. Fazer has maintained its independence as a major international food experience company, remaining one of the few large-scale confectionery brands not owned by a global conglomerate like Nestlé or Mondelez.
