Ardmona is an iconic Australian brand specializing in canned fruit and tomato products. The brand originated in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, Australia, historically part of the Ardmona Fruit Products Co-operative Co. Ltd formed in 1921. It is widely recognized for its commitment to using locally grown Australian produce, as highlighted by the packaging's claim of using 100% premium Australian tomatoes.
In 2002, Ardmona merged with fellow Australian canning giant SPC (Shepparton Preserving Company) to form SPC Ardmona. This entity was later acquired by Coca-Cola Amatil in 2005. Following a period of corporate transition, Coca-Cola Amatil sold the company to Shepparton Partners Collective in 2019. Today, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of this private Australian investment group, continuing its operations in the Goulburn Valley and maintaining its status as a staple in Australian pantries which prioritizes local manufacturing and agriculture.
