Pernigotti is an iconic Italian chocolate brand founded in 1860 by Stefano Pernigotti in Novi Ligure, Italy. Known for its mastery of Gianduja and premium hazelnut pralines, it has been a staple of Italian confectionery for over 160 years. The product shown, Cremino Nero, is a dark chocolate hazelnut praline featuring high-quality Italian hazelnuts, manufactured in Italy following traditional recipes.

The brand has undergone significant ownership changes in recent years. After being owned by the Turkish Toksöz Group for several years, Pernigotti returned to Italian ownership in 2022. It was acquired by JP Morgan’s Lynx holding, but the operational management and production are overseen by Optima Group, which is also an Italian-based entity specialized in confectionery ingredients. This shift aimed to revitalize the brand and secure its historical production roots in Novi Ligure.
