Atomic ski boots

Atomic is a world-renowned brand specializing in skiing equipment, founded in Austria in 1955 by Alois Rohrmoser. The brand gained international fame for its high-performance skis and boots, frequently used by professional athletes in World Cup competitions. While the brand's heritage is deeply rooted in the Austrian Alps, its manufacturing footprint has expanded over the decades.

Today, Atomic is part of the Amer Sports group. While research and specialized production often occur at the original site in Altenmarkt, Austria, a significant portion of their ski boot manufacturing is carried out in dedicated facilities in Romania. This dual-location strategy allows the brand to maintain its high technical standards while optimizing large-scale production.

Since 2019, Amer Sports, and consequently Atomic, has been owned by a consortium led by the Chinese company Anta Sports. Despite this change in ultimate ownership, the brand continues to operate with its core design and development teams based in Europe, ensuring the traditional Austrian skiing expertise remains at the heart of their products.
