Ehrmann Almighurt is one of Germany's most recognized fruit yogurt brands, introduced in 1964 as the first fruit yogurt to be marketed nationwide in the country. The brand is famous for using fresh milk from the Allgäu region in Bavaria, which is highlighted by the 'Gute Allgäuer Milch' seal visible on the packaging. The Almighurt line is available in numerous flavors, including the coconut variant shown here.
The brand remains under the ownership of Ehrmann SE, a family-run dairy company with deep roots in Oberschönegg, Germany. Since its founding in 1920 by Alois Ehrmann, the company has expanded internationally but maintains its primary production facilities in Germany and Russia. As an independent family business, it is currently led by the third and fourth generations of the Ehrmann family, specializing in a wide range of dairy products including yogurts, puddings, and protein snacks.
