Vredestein is a prestigious tire brand with a heritage dating back to the early 20th century. Originally founded in the Netherlands, the company became a pioneer in the European tire industry, specializing in high-performance rubber products for bicycles, passenger cars, and agricultural machinery. The brand is particularly well-regarded for its collaboration with Italian design house Giugiaro, which has helped define the aesthetic and performance standards of its premium tire lines.

In 2009, the brand underwent a significant transition in ownership when it was acquired by the Indian firm Apollo Tyres Ltd. This acquisition integrated Vredestein into a global manufacturing network. Today, while Vredestein maintains its research and development hub and a primary manufacturing plant in Enschede, Netherlands, its products are also manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities in Hungary and India.
