Pedras Salgadas is a naturally sparkling mineral water sourced from the Pedras Salgadas spring in the Trás-os-Montes region of northern Portugal. Fernando II began patronizing the springs for their medicinal properties. Throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it became one of Portugal's most prestigious mineral water brands.

The brand is currently owned by Super Bock Group (formerly Unicer), which is the leading beverage company in Portugal. While the brand is quintessentially Portuguese and continues to be bottled exclusively at its source in the Pedras Salgadas region, the ultimate ownership is a joint venture between the VIOLAS Group from Portugal and the international beverage giant Carlsberg Group. This partnership ensures that local heritage is maintained while benefiting from global distribution networks.
