V6 is a well-established brand of dental chewing gum, particularly prominent in the Nordic markets. Originally launched in Denmark in the 1960s, it was developed by Fertin Pharma (formerly Dandy). The brand gained popularity by focusing on dental health, using sugar-free formulas designed to protect teeth and neutralize plaque.
Historically, production was centered in Vejle, Denmark, where the brand originated. Over time, ownership transitioned from Dandy to Cadbury, and later to Kraft Foods (which became Mondelez International). Today, the brand is owned by Cloetta AB, a major Swedish confectionery company. Due to the consolidation of manufacturing facilities within Cloetta's European network, production takes place in multiple countries, serving various regional markets.
