Transmac, officially known as Transportes Urbanos de Macau, S.A.R.L., is one of the two major public bus operators in Macau. The brand's history dates back to 1952 when it was founded as 'Companhia de Autocarros de Macau' (Fok Lei), eventually being restructured and renamed Transmac in 1988. The bus fleet primarily consists of vehicles manufactured in mainland China, particularly by brands like Suzhou Higer and Zhengzhou Yutong, which are visible in the modern designs utilized for routes such as the 9A shown in the image.

The company is a significant part of Macau's infrastructure, now operating under the ultimate ownership of the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos de Macau (TCM) group's figures or associated stakeholders following historical shifts in ownership involving figures like Ng Fok. Today, it operates under a government concession system alongside TCM to provide comprehensive transit coverage across the Macau Peninsula, Taipa, and Coloane. The service is iconic for its yellow livery and plays a vital role in the connectivity of the Special Administrative Region.
