Sportlife is a well-known Dutch chewing gum brand that was introduced in 1981 by the company Delta Gum. It was the first brand to introduce chewing gum in a blister pack to the Dutch market, branding itself as a functional product for active lifestyles, as signified by its name 'Sportlife'. The Smashmint variant is one of its most popular flavors, recognized for its intense peppermint freshness.
Historically, the brand was part of RBV Leaf and later passed through several corporate hands. Today, Sportlife is owned by the Cloetta Group, a leading Nordic confectionery company. While the brand originated in the Netherlands, manufacturing takes place in various specialized confectionery facilities across Europe, including Cloetta's main production sites in Slovakia and other European locations to serve the Benelux market.
