Reckitt Benckiser Group plc, now known simply as Reckitt, is a British multinational consumer goods giant formed in 1999 by the merger of the British company Reckitt & Colman and the Dutch company Benckiser NV. The company's heritage dates back to 1819 with the founding of Benckiser and 1840 with the founding of Isaac Reckitt's starch mill.

Today, Reckitt operates as a leading player in the health, hygiene, and nutrition sectors, owning a massive portfolio of 'Powerbrands' including Dettol, Lysol, Finish, Vanish, Strepsils, and Durex. The company maintains a global manufacturing footprint with over 40 production facilities worldwide to serve its presence in more than 60 countries.

As of 2024, Reckitt has announced a strategic shift to focus on its high-growth health and hygiene brands, moving certain homecare brands into a specialized 'Essential Home' category for potential divestment. The company remains headquartered in Slough, England, and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
