Rafael ROCKS missile

The ROCKS (IS02) is a next-generation extended stand-off range air-to-surface missile designed for precision strikes against high-value stationary and re-locatable targets. It was developed by the Israeli defense company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and was first publicly unveiled at the Aero India Air Show in 2019. The missile leverages technologies from the earlier Popeye and SPICE systems, featuring an advanced electro-optical seeker and scene-matching technology to operate in GPS-denied environments.

Manufacturing takes place in Israel at Rafael’s specialized facilities. The brand is deeply rooted in the Israeli defense industry, reflecting the country's focus on autonomous, long-range munitions.
