Argon Audio is a Danish boutique audio brand that originated as a private label for the renowned hi-fi retailer HiFi Klubben. The brand was founded with the philosophy of providing high-quality sound engineering and Scandanavian design at an accessible price point.

While the research, design, and engineering of products like the Tempo series are conducted at the company's headquarters in Denmark, the physical manufacturing is outsourced to specialized electronics facilities in the Far East, primarily China, to maintain competitive pricing. Argon Audio remains an independent company under the ownership of its original founders and management, continuing to focus on minimalist aesthetics and premium audio performance for the European market.
