Clipper Spicy Chai Infusion

Clipper is a prominent ethical tea brand established in Beaminster, Dorset, in 1984. It gained significant recognition as the UK's first Fairtrade tea brand, positioning itself as a leader in sustainable and ethical sourcing. The Spicy Chai Infusion shown is a blend of fennel seeds, cinnamon, and black pepper, packaged in plastic-free, unbleached tea bags.

The product is primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom at Clipper's dedicated eco-facility in Dorset. While the raw ingredients like tea leaves and spices are sourced globally from regions such as India and Africa, the blending and final packaging occur in Great Britain.

In terms of ownership, Clipper was acquired by the Dutch company Wessanen in 2012. Wessanen later rebranded as Ecotone in 2020. Ecotone is a major European food company headquartered in Lyon, France, specializing in organic and fair-trade products. Consequently, while the brand maintains its British identity and local production, it is currently owned by a French multinational focused on ecological food systems.
