Jumbo Long Life Milk

Jumbo milk is a private-label product of the Dutch supermarket chain Jumbo. Originally founded in 1921 as a wholesale company by Jan Meurs, the brand has evolved into the second-largest grocery retailer in the Netherlands. The milk is categorized as 'Weidemelk' (meadow milk), which ensures that it comes from cows that spend at least 120 days a year, 6 hours a day, in the pasture.

While Jumbo operates as the brand owner, the actual manufacturing of their dairy products is typically outsourced to large Dutch dairy cooperatives such as FrieslandCampina or Arla Foods. These producers ensure that the milk meets Dutch quality standards and 'Weidemelk' certifications. The brand remains under the private ownership of the Van Eerd family through the parent company Jumbo Groep Holding B.V., based in Veghel, Netherlands.
