Pringles potato crisps

Pringles is a globally recognized brand of stackable, potato-based snacks characterized by its iconic hyperbolic paraboloid shape and cylindrical canister packaging. Originally invented by the American multinational Procter & Gamble (P&G) in 1968, the brand was developed to solve consumer complaints about broken, greasy, and stale chips found in traditional bags. In 2012, P&G sold the brand to Kellogg Company (now Kellanova), which significantly expanded its international reach.

As of 2026, Pringles has transitioned to a new ownership era following the acquisition of Kellanova by the global food giant Mars, Incorporated. The brand is now a core part of the Mars Snacking division. Pringles are produced across a diverse global network of manufacturing facilities to serve more than 140 countries. Primary production hubs are located in Jackson, Tennessee (USA), Mechelen (Belgium), Johor (Malaysia), Kutno (Poland), and Fujian (China), with research and development still largely centered in Battle Creek, Michigan.
