Jules Destrooper is a legendary Belgian biscuit brand founded in 1886 by a baker in West Flanders. Known for its traditional recipes and high-quality natural ingredients, the brand has become a global ambassador for Belgian culinary excellence. The Almond Thins (Fijne amandelkoekjes) are one of their signature products, still made following the original family recipe.

While the brand remained independent for over a century, it was acquired in 2015 by the GT & Co holding company, controlled by the Vandermarliere family. Despite this change in ownership, production remains centered in Belgium, primarily at their facilities in Lo and Ieper, ensuring the authentic heritage of the brand is preserved for international markets.
