Snelle Jelle is a prominent Dutch brand of gingerbread (kruidkoek) known for its association with energy and active lifestyles. The brand was originally created by the Dutch company Peijnenburg, which has a long-standing heritage in traditional spice cake production dating back to the 19th century in Helmond.

Today, Snelle Jelle is manufactured in the Netherlands and remains a staple snack in the Dutch market. Since 2006, the brand has been under the ownership of Lotus Bakeries, a major Belgian food corporation famous for its Biscoff cookies. This acquisition allowed the brand to benefit from a larger international distribution network while maintaining its local Dutch identity and production standards.
